Support Device for Urinary Incontinence

Use of a pessary, a silicon device placed inside the vagina, is a non-surgical option for treatment of pelvic organ prolapse. The device is designed to help hold-up pelvic organs such as the uterus, bladder, rectum or top of the vagina when these organs prolapse (fall down). The pessary can also be used to treat some forms of urinary incontinence.

There are many different sizes and shapes of the pessary device determined by the problem present. Women can remove their pessary easily for cleaning and some devices can be left in place during intercourse.
